Tyrolean Circuit

Duration: 2 to 3 hours (depends on number of people).

Level: Easy brave.

Route: Exit of the Refuge by foot - 1.5 km in trail (25 min) by forest in regeneration, being the last stretch of descent. Return through the lower part of the waterfall.

Attractive: Sequence of 5 ziplines in the Vale da Cachoeira da Onça, crossing over the waterfall, observing the natural pools and the coast. Try this spectacular bird flight!

Ascension to the Giant Fig Tree

Duration : 2 to 3 hours.

Level : Easy brave.

Route : Exit on foot - 2 km on trail (30 min) up hill (forest in regeneration). Return by the same land.

Attractive: We climb on a platform 16 meters high in the crown of a century-old fig tree. We make the ascension using the technique of minimum strength with the aid of the elevator and ladder of rope. The descent is in the rappel technique. Simply indescribable the feeling of interaction with nature!

Canopy Combo

Duration: 3 to 5 hours (depends on number of people).

Level : Easy brave.

Route: Depart of the Refuge on foot and walk to the Malacara River.

Canopy is the English word meaning canopy of trees. Combo is the combination of three activities that we do over the top of our forest: rappelling, climbing the fig tree and zipline!

Come take a bird's eye view and spend a day in 'high' adrenaline!

Includes : 1 descent abseiling platform + 1 ascending fig + 1 descent zipline

Cachoeira da Onça

Length : 1.5 kms

Duration: 1 to 1:30 hs

Level : Easy

Description : Walk through Atlantic forest, in regeneration.
Attractive: Waterfall 25 meters high, side slope of the Malacara canyon. Waterfall bath and toboggan.

Comments:
1. Slippery terrain;
2. Enables bath;
3. Suitable for children to have their first contact with a natural environment;
4. It is the waterfall where we perform the cascading (abseiling). See in VERTICAL.

Rio do Boi Trail - Itaimbézinho Canyon

Duration: 6 to 7 hours.

Route: Exit of the Refuge in vehicle -15 km of dirt (20 min) to the Guarita do Parque. Walk along the bed of rocks of the Ox River with several crossings of river - 10 km. Vehicle return by the same route.

Attraction: Hiking within the canyon of Itaimbézinho - PN Aparados da Serra. Cross rivers, waterfalls, swimming pools and natural slides. Unique view of being in the middle of the walls of 700 mts high. Excellent option for hot days.

Note:

2. Take dry clothes (to leave in the vehicle);
3. Go with sneakers or boots with non-slip soles (it will get wet);

Level: Moderate Experienced. It is one of the walks that most require physical conditioning and endurance.

Escalaminhada the White Stone

Duration: It is 4 to 5 hours, with 3 hours on the trail.

Level: Experienced.

Route: Exit of the Refuge in vehicle - 30 km of land (1h). Ascent steep by the hill where the stone is located (2 to 2:30 hs of ascent and 1:30 hs of descent). Vehicle return by the same route.

Attractive: Basalt monolith at 820m altitude located in the Mampituba Valley.

Vertical trekking to the summit. Rise of 500m crossing by forest, and stretches of land. Amazing view of the springs of the Mampituba River.

Comments:
1. Allows river bathing;
2. Take cap, sunscreen, enough water, raincoat or anorak;
4. It does not require mountaineering techniques, but rather, disposition;
5. Quilombola community;
6. Excellent winter trail or cold and dry days.

Fortaleza Canyon

Duration: 6 to 8 hours.

Level: Moderate.

Route: Exit of the Refuge by vehicle - 60 kms of land, being 16 in the mountains (2:30 hs) to the Fortaleza canyon. Walk along the edge of the canyon, fields, river crossing - 4 kms. Vehicle return by the same route.

Attractive: Located in the Serra Geral National Park, it is considered one of the most beautiful and amazing. Walk to the main points: Sphinx, Tigre Preto Waterfall and Pedra do Segredo.

Includes: Picnic on the edge of the canyon (option w / transport).

Altitude: 1,112 m

Note:

Borges Waterfall

Duration: 3 to 4 hours.

Route: Exit of the Refuge by vehicle - 60km of round trip (40 min). 30min walk to the waterfall in wet forest and slightly winding trail.

Attractive: Beautiful waterfall, inlaid with remnants of Atlantic forest.

Approximately 30 minute trail to the base of the waterfall with obstacles such as rises, descents, fallen trees, and final stretch on stones. Delicious bath in the waterfall!

Comments:
1. Take towel and dry clothes;
2. Go with sneakers or boots with non-slip soles (it can get wet or muddy)

Waterslide

Duration: 2 hs environment (depends on the number of participants).

Route: Exit of the Refuge on foot for 1 km up hill. 30 min walk in wet forest to the natural slide, near the waterfall.

Attraction: Children's boat trip on a rapids with two natural slides, ending in a swimming pool, where there is a small waterfall.

Comments:
1. Age group = between 4 and 16 years.
2. Maximum two children per boat.
3. Only done after rain.
4. One should go tennis.

Buoy

Duration: 1 to 2 hours (depends on river speed).

Route: Depart the Refuge on foot and walk along the Malacara river.

Attractive: The buoy is made in an individual rubber buoy with a special strap for a river descent. It is a white water activity that requires physical effort, only possible on days of high rainfall (flood).
